After Parveen Babi ( woh lamhe) and Silk Smitha ( The dirty picture), it's time for a film believed to be inspired by the life of Divya Bharti. Divya was the youngest leading lady of Bollywood when she died in April 1993. She was on the way to a highly successful career when she fell from the balcony of her apartment building. The circumstances of her death still remain a mystery.After a series of rejection, Divya’s career began with Telugu film ‘Bobbili Raja’. She tasted success in Bollywood with films like ‘Vishwatma’, ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’ and ‘Deewana’. Divya was married to producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
After the success of ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, producers and directors are on a hunting spree for controversial figures. And, looks like Vikram Sandhu has found his muse.
