Kareena Kapoor in 'Heroine' |
After giving an insight into the world of Fashion, Page 3 media and
Corporate world, Bhandarkar most popular movie ‘Heroine’ finally realsed
today. The premise of the film, like every other film of Bhandarkar’s,
remains the same. Leading character who has negative shades goes through
the highs and lows in her life, enjoys a period of success and then
goes through a low phase only to reform and rebuild herself as a human
being. What Bhandarkar shows is not new to most of us; it is just
presented in a snazzy, glamorous way.
I saw first day first show and As a viewer movie is too long, I rate
this movie story 2 out of 5 and As a bebo’s performence 3.5 out of 5. I would recommend you if you are Bhandarkar fan than skip this one. One,
it may be disappointing; two, you’ve seen all this before. If you are a
Kareena Kapoor fan, it’s a treat. All said and done, the film may be a
one-time watch. But if you expected too much out of the film, it may not
be worth the anticipation and your money.” One little request to Mr
Bhandarkar; when the next time you use gay characters in your films,
please don’t make them so obviously effeminate. All gays aren’t like
that. Let’s not stick to the stereotypes time and again.
But if you want to watch Kareena stunning performance than go ahead.
‘Heroine’ work but only because of Kareena Kapoor. From doing the
raunchy act in ‘Halkat Jawaani’
to the scenes where she is battling depression and popping pills, to the
I-don’t-care-attitude of a confident actress, Kareena makes Mahi
memorable and lovable. Kareena Kapoor is a complete stunner in the
movie. She steals the show by delivering a stupendous performance.
